Terms and Conditions
Please read the following carefully as the lettings of the properties shall be solely upon the terms and conditions appearing below and upon no other terms.
- I S Services acts as agent for the purpose of the letting of the properties advertised on this website.
- You should arrange your own personal holiday and breakdown insurance, if this is required.
- Your completed booking application form constitutes an offer only and no legally binding agreement shall come into existence until such time as your offer is accepted in writing by I S Services.
- A deposit of 25% of the total letting cost shall be paid if the booking is made more than eight weeks prior to the intended starting date of the letting and such sum shall accompany the booking application. The balance of the letting cost shall be paid not later than eight weeks before the starting date of the letting.
- If a booking is made less than eight weeks prior to the intended starting date of the letting then the whole of the letting cost shall be paid together with the deposit referred to below and such sums shall accompany the booking application form.
- A security deposit for breakages and electricity charges of 15% of the total letting cost shall accompany the final payment, which sum shall be held by I S Services until the end of the letting and from which they will be at liberty to deduct such sums as may be incurred by them or the owners in respect of any damages occasioned to the property, its contents or the swimming pool (pool liners are very delicate and very expensive) and/or telephone and electricity charges on the part of the client or any of his/her party or guests. Such deposit is payable without prejudice to the right of I S Services to make a claim in respect of any damage occasioned to the property or its contents by reason of any act or default on the part of the client, his/her party or guests amounting to any sum greater than 15% of the total letting cost.
- In the event of cancellation by the client, I S Services must be notified immediately in writing and the date of such cancellation shall be the date upon which the cancellation was received by I S Services, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

- The letting shall commence at 5.00 pm on the day of the letting and shall terminate at 10.00 am on the last day of the letting or at such time as otherwise shall be specifically agreed.
- Upon arrival at the property, the client will ensure that the property is as described and that the same are in good working order and condition. The signed inventory form shall thereafter be conclusive of those facts.
- At the end of the letting and before departure the client shall, with the agent, inspect the contents of the property. Any damage, and/or losses, the cost of replacement or repair shall be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.
- In the event of a client leaving the property prior to the property being checked, then the same shall be checked by the agent and his/her statement shall be conclusive of the facts.
- The clients shall keep and leave the property and its contents in the same clean and good order as upon arrival and shall be liable for the cost of any additional cleaning, should it be required.
- No person who is not specifically on the booking form shall occupy the property at any time. The client and his/her party shall use the property in a good and tenant like manner.
- I S Services reserves the right to close down the swimming pool during the out of season periods in the event of a change in the weather conditions and may do so without payment or any compensation or deduction from the holiday price.
- In the event of any dissatisfaction or complaint concerning the letting the client shall notify I S Services or the agent immediately thereof, and confirm the same in writing within 7 days of the termination of the letting. No liability whatsoever shall attach to I S Services in the absence of such written notification.
- The client shall take full responsibility for the safety of himself/herself and all other members of his/her party. I S Services hereby excludes all liability whatsoever for any injury loss or damage howsoever arising to the client or any member of his/her party so far as the same is capable of being excluded by the law.
- I S Services shall not be in any way liable for the occasional appearance in the property of insects, vermin or other bugs which generally frequent the countryside but every reasonable endeavour shall be made to limit their presence.
- I S Services shall not be liable for any defect in or the breakdown of any mechanical, electrical or any other item, equipment, goods or property including the property itself and the swimming pool, but shall upon the receipt of notice of the same, use its best endeavours to effect repairs to or the replacement of any such item within a reasonable time and the client shall not be entitled to any compensation whatsoever in respect thereof.
- In the event of any breach of the above terms and conditions, I S Services may in its absolute discretion terminate the agreement forthwith and the client shall be liable to compensate the owners for any loss or damage whatsoever or howsoever thereby incurred.
- Whilst I S Services makes every effort to ensure that the particulars of the property fairly represent and describe the particular property and its amenities, they shall not be liable for any misdescription of the same. Any ground plans are not drawn to scale.
- Any complaint concerning the condition of the property, its amenities or otherwise shall be directed to and made against the owners of the respective properties and I S Services shall not be liable in anyway howsoever.
- In the event of dispute or difference arising under this agreement or arising out of the letting, the law prevailing in France shall apply and any dispute or difference shall be heard and determined by a court in France.
